Keeping the charge steady
Your body runs on charge , and that charge moves through minerals: magnesium, sodium, and potassium. When they’re balanced, your energy feels calm and steady. When they’re low, the body scatters. Fatigue, headaches, low mood, cramps, or that flat, unmotivated feeling.
Magnesium

[ReMag by RnA ReSet - Shop Link]
Most people are low in magnesium without realising it. Stress, coffee, and sweat all deplete it. Magnesium supports hundreds of chemcial reactions in the body. From energy production to muscle relaxation and sleep. So when it’s low, everything feels tense and exhausting.
ReMag is my preferred option. It’s a pico-ionic liquid magnesium, meaning the particles are incredibly small and well absorbed. That means no digestive upset, and no wasted dose.
Suggested Approach: Start slowly. Build gradually until you reach what feels right for your body (typical range: 400 – 700 mg per day, split into two or more doses). Some people add it to water, others prefer it in a small amount of juice or flavoured electroytes.
If you’re body is depeleted: You may find your body responds well to a higher dose temporarily. If you choose to trial this, you'll know your upper limit by your stool consistency - looser stools are a known sign you’ve gone a little high. If that happens, pause for a day, then return to the level that didn’t cause that effect. Once you feel your energy, sleep, and overall wellbeing have improved and are stable, many people then shift back to their maintenance dose (400 - 700 mg / day).
Sodium

Sodium is vital for nerve conduction, hydration, and overall wellbeing , especially if you eat clean, train, or sweat often. It's also important to note that people on low-carb or animal-based diet need more sodium, not less.
LMNT and Sodii both provide 1000mg of sodium without added sugar. They’re easy to use daily and taste great. For portability, salt tablets by Toppin [Shop Link] are an easy, affordable option to carry through the day.
Your main source of sodium will still be salt on your meals. I rotate between these:
Redmond Real Salt – mineral-rich and clean
Smoked Redmond Real Salt – adds depth and flavour
Celtic Sea Salt – slightly moist, high in trace minerals
Murray River Salt Flakes – gentle flavour, lovely for the table
Potassium
[Potassium Citrate – Shop Link]
Potassium balances sodium and supports muscle function, heart rhythm, and cellular charge. Many people get enough from food, but if need a little more, its easy to top up with potassium citrate powder.
How It May Look
Personally, I keep it simple. In a glass, I mix
1 sachet LMNT
800 mg potassium citrate
200 mg magnesium (from ReMag)
I drink this twice a day. Once mid-morning and again mid-afternoon. The rest of the day, I just drink plain water with a pinch of Redmond Sea Salt. On hotter days, after exercise, or when I've been in the sauna, I'll have a third glass to replace what's lost in sweat.
